  2. Once 'Advanced' is highlighted press 'OK' to enter the menu.

From the 'Advanced' menu we need to enter the 'Date and Time' menu.

  1. If its not already highlighted use the up and down arrow buttons to move to the 'Date and Time' menu.
  2. Once 'Date and Time' is highlighted press the 'OK' Button.

Once in the 'Date and Time' menu you will see the following.

  1. You can use the up and down arrow to move to the different settings and use the 'OK' button to edit.
  2. The options are listed below.

> TIME - To change the time you can move to the 'Time' option and press 'OK' to start editing. Then use the left and right arrows to switch between hours, minutes and seconds. Use the number pad to type in the changes. Once you are done press 'OK' to lock in the changes and exit the edit mode. When editing the time you always edit it in 24 hour time.

> Date - To change the date you can use the up and down arrows to move to the 'Date' option. Once highlighted press the 'OK' button to enter the edit mode. Use the left and right arrows to switch between year, month and day. Use the number pad to change the details. Once you are done press 'OK' to confirm the changes and exit the edit mode.

> Time Format - This allows you to change the clock display from 12 hour to 24 hour. In other words change from saying 1pm to 13:00. This only changes the display on the main screen of the terminal. When editing the time you are always editing in 24 hour time. To change this use the up and down arrows to move to the 'Time Format' option and then press 'OK' to enter the edit mode. Press the up and down arrow to change the format. Once you are done press the 'OK' button to confirm the changes and exit the edit mode.

> Date Format - As it suggests this option allows you to change the date format displayed on the terminal. This is only for the display on the terminal and does not change the date display in the software as this is governed by your computers settings. There is no format exactly the same as the Australian format but you can set it to YYYY-MM-DD which is the closest. To change the settings use the up and down arrows to move to the 'Date Format' option and then press 'OK' to enter the edit mode. Use the up and down arrows to change the setting. Once you are happy with the setting press the 'OK' button to confirm the changes and exit the edit mode.

NOTE: The date format is just for the display on the terminal. Even if this does not match the Australian format the dates will still show correctly in the software as the software shows the format of the date based on your computer settings.

NOTE: Even when you change the 'Time Format' you still edit the actual time on the terminal in 24 hour time.
