Getting Started Guide

Before you enroll users at the terminal it is strongly recommended that you setup that user in the software. That way the 'User ID' will match what is in the software.

Enrolling Proximity Card


NOTE: The Proximity card reader is optional, please indicate when ordering a time clock that a RFID or HID card reader is required. 
  1. Tap on the Menu icon located in the upper left-hand side of the main screen
  2. Select the User option
  3. Tap on the user’s name from the list. You may also search for a specific user by tapping on the search box at the top of the list. Once a user is selected, options will become available to the right-hand side of the screen.
  4. To enroll a proximity card, select the card icon on the right-hand side of the screen. This is the second icon from left to right.   
  5. You will then be prompted to scan the card by placing it near the right side of the device. You will also find a card icon on the device for reference.
  6. A confirmation will appear once the card has successfully been enrolled.
     
Note: To remove a user from the Xenio smart clock, you will need to log into your software and remove their clocking permissions for the specific device you are working with. To delete a user from the device, remove their clocking permissions first, then inactivate or terminate the user.
