EC - Connecting to a Wi-Fi network
To configure Wi-Fi settings on the time clock do the following:
- On the time clock Press Menu, and use the right arrow to select Settings and press OK.
- Select SetIP and press OK.
- Scroll down to Wi-Fi and press OK.
- Press OK on Use Wi-Fi and using the right arrow change it to YES.
- Scroll down to Search Wi-Fi hub and press OK.
- Then press MENU to display all available Wi-Fi network.
- Use the arrow keys to select the desired Wi-Fi network and press OK.
- Press OK once again until T9 is displayed and use "text on 9 keys" to enter the Wi-Fi password.
- Using the keypads numbers and letters enter the networks password (1= No letter, 2=ABC, 3=DEF, 4=GHI, 5=JKL, 6=MNO 7=PQRS 8=TUV 9=WXYZ. To add a capital letter first press 0 (Zero) then press the letter, For special characters, press ^ (up arrow) and browse through the different characters and select the number that matches the symbol.
- Press OK once finished and then scroll down to OK to confirm and save.
- Once the Wi-Fi selection has been made, click under "Link Information" to verify connection status and signal strength.
Please note: WiFi card in the clock is 2.4 GHz ONLY. 5 GHz networks do not populate in the network list.
